Physical Education Course Waiver

China Medical University Physical Education Course Waiver Guidelines

I. Basis:
These guidelines are formulated based on the resolution passed at the 1st Academic Affairs Meeting of the 2nd Semester, 93rd Academic Year, on June 1, 2005.

II. Purpose:
To manage matters regarding the waiver of physical education (PE) courses for students at this university and to safeguard students' rights and interests.

III. Eligibility to Apply for a PE Course Waiver:

1. New undergraduate students, transfer students, or students transferring departments who have completed and passed the required PE courses at their original institution are eligible to waive equivalent semester PE courses at this university.

2. Graduates of various types of junior colleges who have completed PE courses during the 4th and 5th years of a five-year junior college program, or the 1st and 2nd years of a two-year or three-year junior college program, are eligible to waive first-year PE courses.

3. Students who have completed elective PE courses may not use these to waive required PE courses.

IV. Students who meet the eligibility criteria must apply for course waivers online within the designated deadline set by the university.

V. These guidelines are implemented after being reviewed and approved by the Academic Affairs Meeting. Amendments shall follow the same procedure.
