Financial Aid for Students Admitted through the Athletic Performance Recommendation Program

(1) Financial Aid for Students Admitted through the Athletic Performance Recommendation Review:

  1. Students with outstanding athletic performance from senior high schools or higher, who are admitted to any department of this university through the athletic recommendation review process, may apply for financial aid ranging from NT$10,000 to NT$30,000 per student (Applies to students admitted in Academic Year 100). Non-financially disadvantaged students may receive NT$10,000. Disadvantaged (low-income) students may receive NT$30,000.

  2. Students who meet the above criteria must maintain a passing average GPA each semester, have no disciplinary records of minor demerits or higher, and achieve top 6 placements in intercollegiate tournaments (e.g., University Cup) or top 2 in Medical School Competitions events. They must regularly attend training sessions as required and receive a coach's recommendation and preliminary approval from the Director of the Physical Education Office to continue receiving this financial aid. (Applies to students admitted in Academic Year 100)
Note: Extended-year students (i.e., students who go beyond the standard program duration) are not eligible.
A student is considered “low-income” if the combined annual income of the father, mother, and the student in the previous year is less than NT$1.14 million.

  3. After the start of the semester, the Registration Office will compile a list of eligible new students and submit it to the Student Affairs Office. After being reviewed and approved by the committee, the financial aid will be granted.

  4. Required Documents (Special Requirements):

    • First Academic Year: Submit transcripts from the athletic recommendation review process from their senior high school level or above.

    • From the Second Academic Year Onward: Submit the previous semester’s academic transcript and award certificates from the past two semesters for participation in the University Cup or Medical School Competitions.
