Su Fang-Ling Memorial Scholarship Guidelines
Su Fang-Ling Memorial Scholarship Guidelines
Background:
Su Fang-Ling, born in Miaoli County, Taiwan, was a fourth-year student in the Department of Pharmacy at this university. On December 18, 1986 (R.O.C. Year 75), she represented her class in the Nation-wide University sports competition. In spite of suffering from physical exhaustion during the event, she persevered and completed the race. After the competition, she collapsed from shock and, despite emergency medical efforts, tragically passed away. In memory of her sportsmanship and to encourage students with outstanding performance in athletics, this scholarship has been established.
