Art.1 These regulations are established to improve the technical level of the athletic teams.
Art. 2 The professional knowledge and expertise of the coach must be in alignment with the needs of the sports team.
Art. 3 Each athletic team shall appoint one coach. If an external coach is hired, the Athletic Department may appoint an internal teacher to serve as an advisory teacher to assist and guide the team
Art. 4 The coach's duties include guiding the athletes' appropriate development, ensuring their physical autonomy and collaborating with the school's relevant administrative affairs. The main responsibilities are as follows:
Cooperate with the training, competitions, and guidance of the school's sports teams and outstanding athletes.
Attend training, activities, and meetings related to the school and the athletic team.
Cooperate with the school's administrative affairs related to the sports team.
Assist the school in establishing a quality sports culture and atmosphere.
Abide by school discipline and relevant regulations and maintain the school's reputation.
For students' excellent deeds or serious mistakes, the coach should consult with the Sports Office and submit recommendations for rewards or punishments.
Art. 5 Employment and dismissal of sports team coaches:
The team leader should submit at least two "Coach Recommendation Forms" by July 31st each year to the Sports Office.
After the Physical Education Office reviews and compiles the forms, the recommendation is submitted to the principal for approval. The employment period is one year.
If a coach is unable to continue coaching for any reason, the team leader must report immediately to the Physical Education Office and submit the coach recommendation form again.
If a coach violates their duties during their appointment period, they may be dismissed after being approved by the Office Meeting and submitted to the principal for final approval.
Art. 6 Coach travel expenses standards and payment method:
Coaches must train the team at least twice a week, and each semester, they will be issued a travel allowance of NT$6,000.
Each sports team should submit training logs and results to the Physical Education Office at the end of the semester for review, and after approval, the related expenses will be reimbursed by the school.
Art. 7
When a coach guides students to participate in off-campus competitions, they will be granted official leave and travel expense reimbursement.
Coaches guiding students in off-campus competitions will receive bonuses under the following conditions:
First place in the National University Sports Games and competitions and other national-level events, will receive a bonus of NT$10,000 for first place, NT$8,000 for second place, and NT$7,000 for third place. For the same team and event, the best ranking will be selected for the bonus.
First place in the National Medical School Athletic Competitions will receive a bonus of NT$5,000, second place will receive NT$3,000.
Art. 8 These regulations were implemented after being approved by the Athletic Department Meeting, submitted for approval at the Administrative Meeting, and approved by the principal. The same process will apply for revisions.
